Excellent combinations of strength, weldability and toughness to permit designers flexibility in the design of pressure vessels coming under the jurisdiction of the ASME Pressure Vessel Code. The plates are produced from fully killed fine grained steels and in the normalized condition will meet the requirements of ASTM A300: 15 ft.lbs. energy at -50°F on Charpy V-notch impact specimens.
